If you make a purchase, make a redemption, or redeem your birthday gift once every 18 months, your points will continue to roll over! I checked your Beauty Insider account and your account is currently active. I would just make sure to redeem your Birthday Gift on your account each year if you don’t plan to buy anything.

Just log-in to your account and click on “MY ACCOUNT” at the top of the page. You should see the words “beautyinsider” in orange,red, and pink letters followed by your current point balance in the middle of the page.

Reward points expire if your Beauty Insider account is inactive for 18months. As for status, Sephora resets everyone’s status at the beginning of each calendar year. So on January 1, 2018, the amount you spent will return to $0 and you would have to spend at least $350 by December 31, 2018 to qualify for VIB or $1000 to qualify for Rouge. However, if you spend $350 by December 31, 2017, you will qualify forVIB this year as well as the next calendar year, meaning you will remain VIB until December 31, 2019.

Yes it would. If you’ve redeemed points, it’s even possible for your balance to go negative. Still, at least you don’t have something hanging around that you won’t use, and odds are you’ll replace it with something and get that point balance back up again.

You may redeem Sephora points without any purchase in store. I believe most locations put a limit of 3 items, regardless of how many points you have. There are online restrictions to redeem items 750 points and above without purchase and they ship for free.
